Yājñavalkya & Gārgī
the dialogue format itself, born in open assembly at Janaka's court
The
मशीन युग का शास्त्रार्थ
A śāstrārtha for the machine age — Bihar's first convening on
Sovereign Safe Superintelligence.
The frontier of knowledge once ran through Bihar.
The Bihar Frontier Dialogues is where it returns.
A precedent, not a proposal
The defining questions of the superintelligence era — how do we know a machine's decision is valid? who governs intelligent systems? who teaches a civilisation its next body of knowledge? — are questions this soil has answered before, at world scale.
the dialogue format itself, born in open assembly at Janaka's court
deliberative governance centuries before most of the world
Rajgir, Vaishali, Pataliputra — the world's earliest knowledge-validation assemblies
the mathematics of place value that runs inside every computer on earth
the world's distribution network for knowledge itself
Mithila's formal systems for validating knowledge-claims
A demonstration, not only a discussion
Every invitation, RSVP, introduction, and meeting at the Dialogues is orchestrated by Gārgī — the convening's agent, built in Bihar and governed by the principles the convening advocates.
Participants do not merely hear the case for Sovereign Safe Superintelligence; they stand inside a working instance of it.

The territory of the convening
The Dialogues convene around the questions the superintelligence era puts to a sovereign people — the work, the safeguards, and the institutions Bihar will carry into the frontier.
Autonomous systems that act, reason, and convene.
The state and the frontier, governing in concert.
Where Bihar's next ideas are forged and tested.
Sovereign founders building from this soil outward.
Safety as architecture — examinable, never assumed.
The compute and rails a sovereign future runs on.
Introductions made deliberately, in the open assembly.
Hands on the frontier — practice, not only theory.
Validating knowledge-claims, as this land long has.
Frontier intelligence moved into the real world.
Work reshaped, with human judgement kept sovereign.
The superintelligence era, met on India's terms.
THE TWELVE ELEMENTS, UNFOLDED
One afternoon and evening in Patna — the order of the sitting, chapter by chapter, each unfolding as the scroll reaches it.

The sitting, orchestrated live
On the day, the convening itself is a working control room: arrivals confirmed by QR at the doors, the Frontier Rounds rotating on an agent-built schedule, questions for the Convenor clustered as they arrive, and the Opportunity Map released to every phone at the close of the stage programme.
Gārgī attends to each guest individually — schedule, rotation, introductions — under the supervision of the Convenor's office.
The covenant of the convening
Sovereignty — we will not rent our future.
Safety as architecture, not as promise.
Epistemic accountability — every machine decision examinable.
Two rings, by invitation
